baan samui resort - sha extra plus exceeded my expectations during my recent stay in chaweng. the staff were friendly and helpful, especially may at the reception. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the mall and many shops and restaurants.

More sunbeds around the pool would be a bonus.

Greatly located. Warm atmosphere. Private area on the beach.

WiFi available upon extra charge but speed and signal were very bad. They charged me for a couple of hours of late check-out despite the hotel was not fully booked. The transfer for the airport is not recommendable as its price doubles local taxis.

The resort offers a peaceful escape in the busy town of Chaweng Beach. Gorgeous pools and beach for relaxation. Spotless rooms and attentive staff. Excellent location near restaurants and shops. Good internet and amenities available. Perfect for someone who wants to be in direct touch with nature.

We spent a week at Baan Samui Resort - Sha Extra Plus and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were fantastic, always smiling and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options. The pool and poolside bar were lovely, and the beach location was a huge bonus. The rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and a big walk-in shower. The hotel provided towels for the pool and the cleanliness was impeccable. The little terrace outside our room overlooking the gardens was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We also enjoyed the beach restaurant and the BBQ night. a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

band in front of the hotel is playing rockmusic every night untill 11.30 pm ! ask for a room closer to the beach beacause they play loud ! :-)

Nice enough rooms for the price, hotel located right on the beach and very central to the rest of Chaweng Beach area. Stayed in off season so it was pretty quiet, resorts line the beach with no road access which is nice..short walk up the beach to ARKbar

Hotel restaurant was expensive, no room service..but there are many other options nearby. Internet is 100 baht for 70mins, 200 baht for 150min, 500 baht for 550mins..altho apparently it is free next door at the Irish pub.

amazing stay at a resort in Chaweng, Koh Samui. Staff was lovely, especially with our baby. Good location, lots of restaurants nearby. Will definitely go back.

Smoking allowed by pool and beach.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The location couldn't be better as we were right in the heart of the city with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel facilities were outstanding, especially the pool which was great for relaxing. The staff was excellent, always going out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay. Moreover, the breakfast was a big plus with delicious eggs and plenty of variety.

The Hotel was centrally located and nice and cose to the beach!!

After a few days the bathroom had a continuos bad smell which seemed to come from the toilet even though it was cleaned and flushed.Also the pilows were not the most comfortable I have slept on.

I recently stayed at a hotel on the beach which provided a great location for my trip. Set right in the centre of Chaweng Beach, I was able to enjoy the live music, food and shopping just a short walk away. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with great views of the sea. The staff were very polite and accommodating, and the breakfast was well presented with a good variety. I particularly enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the airport.

There was one aspect of the hotel I found disappointing. The water in the bathtub had some drainage issues which made it difficult to use.

Staff speak very limited english. If a problem were to arise, I would hate to imagine how I could resolve an issue.

Nice location, nice rooms, not too expensive. Designed in a natural style around a tropical central garden running down to a good pool area and bar/restaurant in front of the beach. Easy walk to centre of town.

Crazy multiple coloured paint job on the exterior of the buildings. 'Timmy Mallet on speed'. Why did they do that?!!
